Eric and the Fate of Harold

Harold is dedicated to protecting the populace – more than ever now. He and his companions have started hunting down every potentially dangerous adventurer in the region. In response, a Resistance has formed. Will their tracking down of another veteran hero turn the tide? What has Harold turned into, and how will the return of an ominous scientist influence events?

Sounds familiar? Of course it does. This comedic interactive story with JRPG-style battles (short, but still losable) is my entry to the Harold: Dark Universe game jam. I suck at estimating and I'm generally slow, so I had to rush some parts and leave out various less important scenes and optional missions. Even so, play time may be above the suggested 45-minute mark.

And I ultimately failed to notice a bug that causes half of the game to be skipped (which may make the final battle unwinnable due to lack of attacks). Ouch.

Now that voting's over, I could finally upload a new version.
